Meet our Eye Care Professionals:
James E. Clabeaux has been a practicing optician and contact lens fitter for almost 50 years. Mr. Clabeaux is a NYS licensed ophthalmic dispenser and contact lens fitter. He is also certified by the American Board of Opticianary (A.B.O.) and national contact lens examiners (N.C.L.E.). He has served on the N.Y.S. Licensing Boards and belongs to the N.Y.S. Society of dispensing opticians. He was also a member of the Salina Lions Club where he worked with the Central New York Eye Bank under the supervision of Kenneth Spitzer, M.D.
Mr. Clabeaux was one of the first practitioners in Central New York who fit soft astigmatic contact lenses and did so as a Food and Drug Administration trial investigator. He is highly skilled in all aspects of contact lens evaluation and prescribing and particularly enjoys the challenge of fitting new specialty (multifocal, astigmatism, etc.) lenses.
If you like cars, boats or horses Jim would love to have a conversation with you regarding these!

She is certified by the American Board of Opticianary and the NCLE and has spent over 40 years in the optical field in both the wholesale and retail settings. Andrea Stone has been working in the optical business for over 10 years. She enjoys showing frames, working with people, and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of vision care. She works in a part time position filling in when the regular staff members are on vacation and truly loves helping in the office. Her interests include her family and especially coaching her daughter Zoe’s cheerleading and Lacrosse teams.
Dana Mitchell has been with us part time over the last 4 years.
