New Retina Camera

We have just purchased a new KOWA retinal camera which takes 3D pictures of the optic nerve in the back of the eye. Stereo photos are important in diagnosing and managing glaucoma and other optic nerve diseases. The camera also photographs macular degeneration, nevi (freckles in the back of the eye), diabetic retinopathy, hypertension retinopathy, and many other disorders. Photographs allow Dr. Morra to better monitor these conditions in his patients.
